Day 49: Indeed

Last night, I had the pleasure of talking with a new friend via AIM. It was a very intriguing conversation. He is a lot different than I thought...but in a good way. Funnier, I think. He gave me some great encouragement. I found it interesting that at one point not too long ago, he tried to figure me out. And couldn't. I have never ever been told that before. Normally, people tell me I'm like an open book. I began to think about how I portray myself on this lovely site. Do I put my best face out there? I think I do. I think, mostly, people can see that I am continuing to evolve. I don't get older...I get better. But, anyways, it was a great conversation....it made me think, which is always good.

On an unrelated subject, I hate the confederate flag. It makes me angry. I'm not sure why. When I see people displaying it proudly on their car, tee shirt, whatever, I want to slap them and tell them to find another symbol of "freedom". I further think it's tacky. So yeah; there's my $.02 on that.
