Day 89: He forgot

I was supposed to see Jason today. My best friend, whom I haven't seen in almost a year.

He forgot that we had plans. He didn't come to Nashville.

I bet he didn't forget that he's going to Miami though....I'm sure he'll have a blast.

I honestly don't know what to do or feel. They say actions speak louder than words.....so what am I to take from this? Do people mess up? Sure. We all do...things happen. But I couldn't sleep last night I was so excited. Went to church after having a flat tire and no electricity to dry my hair. And he forgot. No phone call, no email, nothing. He apologized. And now I'm left feeling like a jerk for not being able to get over it quickly. This is why I think people don't trust others.
